IRAJ, Naghsh-e Gonah (Taraneh, Shoor)
This a a part of a 15-minute persian music. I do not have all of it. Iran's Radio used to offer "Iranian Music in 15 minutes" in which there was a couple of lines of avaaz in the middle and the same piece of slow song at both ends. This is the slow song piece of one of such 15-min. programs by Iraj in Shoor. Enjoy!!!

IRAJ, Boro Dar ro Va Kon, Taraneh (3-Gah)
This is one out of many many taraneh's by IRAJ. He sung this taranah in 1349 Khorsheedi. It is in 3-gah scale. It shows the versatility in IRAJ's singing. The part that he says: "Shab keh meesheh,.... Choon hameesheh...." is very difficult to mimick, not that other parts are easy!!!

IRAJ, Gol-haye 526 "Arefaneh"(Esfahan) See Notes:
The third verse says:" Khorsheed-e May ze Mashregh-e Saaghar Toloo'e Kard." may be interpreted as: The Sun rose from the East of the Globe(the celestial sphere, the sky). Here, a resemblance is made between "Saaghar" (a glass that holds wine) and the globe of sky, specially at sunrise that becomes redish or "Gol-goon" , like red wine.

IRAJ, Khazaan -e Na-moradi (4-Gah)
This must have been a film song because I did not hear it from Iranian radios during Shah's time. Any way, Iraj has sung it in Chahar-Gah scale. CHahr-gah scale has pieces (Ghoosheh ha'ee) that requires high-pitch singing. Enjoy the music!
